Passengers on an Airbus A350 flight from Atlanta to Barcelona had to endure a horrific incident when a fellow traveler had a bout of diarrhoea in the middle of the plane’s aisle. The pilot declared it a biohazard issue and returned to Atlanta. The plane was delayed by eight hours for cleaning before finally reaching its destination. Delta Airlines apologized for the inconvenience caused to passengers and commended the ground crew for their efforts in cleaning up the mess. Passengers described the smell as the worst imaginable, even after the area was disinfected with vanilla-scented cleaner.
