Finnish government minister Vilhelm Junnila, who made a Nazi joke and was associated with neo-Nazi groups, has survived a no-confidence vote in parliament. The prime minister warned Junnila about his behavior but did not comment further. Ten MPs from the Swedish People’s Party walked out of the session before the vote. Junnila had previously given a speech at an event attended by neo-Nazis, prompting outcry and an apology. Further controversies were revealed, including a picture of a snowman resembling a Ku Klux Klan member and a video message featuring Adolf Hitler. Junnila’s election campaign also featured controversial language.
