A woman from southern Sydney is set to appear in court after being charged with stealing luxury items worth $50,225 from a shop at Sydney International Airport. The Australian Federal Police launched an investigation following a complaint by the luxury airport store. The woman, who was an employee at the store, allegedly stole 15 items including bracelets, pens, lighters, and a wallet. Police found the stolen items, along with a Sydney Airport visitor pass, an Australian passport, and two electronic devices, during a search of the woman’s home. She is facing charges of larceny, which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years’ imprisonment.
