Two men have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Sydney underworld figure Alen Moradian. Moradian was shot dead in his car in a carpark in Bondi Junction on June 27. The police found a burnt-out Porsche and a burnt-out Holden Commodore nearby. The investigation into Moradian’s murder was taken over by Task Force Magnus, which was set up to target gun-related violence and investigate links between various shootings in Sydney. The two men, aged 27 and 28, were arrested in raids in Sydney’s south-west and are expected to be charged with their involvement in the murder.
