Tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Kyrgyzstan-Xinjiang border late Monday night. This is the second time this month that Delhi and surrounding regions were jolted by an earthquake. The previous earthquake on January 11 had a magnitude of 6.1 and was centered in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. Tremors were also felt in parts of Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, and Pakistan. Last week, Quetta and its surrounding areas were hit by a 4.6 magnitude earthquake.
