Two 16-year-old boys have been charged after allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old boy during an armed robbery in Melbourne. The incident occurred when the victim was walking along a street in Dandenong North and a group of teenagers drove up next to him. One of them allegedly got out of the vehicle armed with an axe, threatened the victim, and stole his phone. The victim stated feeling incredibly paranoid and unsafe after the incident. The two boys have been charged with multiple offenses, including aggravated robbery and theft of a motor vehicle, and will appear in children’s court.
