Two 17-year-olds, Gabriel Davies and Justin Yoon, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in connection with the death of Daniel McCaw. The charges of first-degree murder, burglary, and unlawful possession of a firearm were dropped as part of the plea agreement. Davies and Yoon will be held without bail until their sentencing on November 3 and could face up to life in prison. McCaw, who had previously been in a relationship with Davies’ mother, was found dead in his house with gunshot and stab wounds. The teens allegedly plotted to steal items from McCaw’s safe.
