A 16-year-old girl in Thane, Maharashtra was allegedly gang-raped by seven individuals, with four of the accused being arrested. The incident occurred on October 2 in Bhiwandi town, where one of the accused, who was known to the victim, called her near a railway station and raped her. He then took her to a room where six of his friends took turns raping her. The traumatised victim initially did not report the incident due to fear but later filed a complaint. The police are now searching for the remaining three accused.
