Severe drought in Texas has exposed 113-million-year-old dinosaur tracks at Dinosaur Valley State Park. The tracks, belonging to Acrocanthosaurus and Sauroposeidon proteles dinosaurs, were discovered due to low water levels. The footprints were preserved in limestone, but erosion will eventually cause them to disappear. Scientists have uncovered 75 prehistoric footprints and are currently studying them. The discovery of dinosaur tracks has helped researchers learn more about dinosaur habits and activities. This is not the first time dinosaur tracks have been revealed in the park due to drought conditions.
