Last week in Georgia, a 19-year-old driver was trapped under a 3,600-pound car after a collision. Georgia police sergeant Michael Peterson and several Good Samaritans came to the rescue, lifting the car off the trapped driver and saving his life. Police body-cam footage captured Sgt. Peterson giving instructions and encouraging the group. The Lawrenceville Police Department confirmed that the teen driver suffered injuries but is recovering in a medical facility. Without the quick action of Peterson and the Good Samaritans, the department believes the driver would not have survived.
