A high-ranking police officer in New South Wales (NSW) is under review for his employment after being charged with drink-driving. CCTV footage reportedly showed the officer consuming over 20 drinks, with an estimated blood alcohol level of .280 to .320. The officer has been charged with high-range drink-driving and driving under the influence. The NSW Police Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner deny any cover-up or interference in the case, which is now being examined by the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission.
