The 9th edition of the Amani music and dance festival was held in Bukavu, eastern DRC, from 9-12 February and attracted 25,000 attendees. The event promoted peace and reconciliation in the region plagued by armed conflict for more than two decades and helped to give expression to young people at the national and regional level.
