A 56-year-old man has been arrested in New Zealand for leaking Te Whatu Ora vaccination data online. He has been charged with accessing a computer system for dishonest purposes and is due to appear in court. The man, who had no clinical background or vaccine knowledge, allegedly downloaded and published a large amount of vaccine-related information on an overseas website. Te Whatu Ora, the public health agency affected, stated that no personal information was believed to have been compromised, but investigations into the breach are ongoing. The agency is working with cyber security specialists and other agencies to address the incident.
