Balanced News: Major fire in Queenstown sends smoke drifting over town

A major fire at a pub in central Queenstown is contained but not fully out, and traffic has backed up as two of the town’s main streets are blocked off. Crews from seven Fire and Emergency trucks responded to the blaze and are currently working to extinguish the flames. No one has been injured in the fire. Stanley Street is closed and expected to remain closed for several hours while firefighters work to put the fire out.
