India and the United States have resolved their last outstanding dispute at the World Trade Organization (WTO) during the G20 summit. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden in New Delhi. The dispute involved India’s import restrictions on certain US agricultural products over avian influenza concerns. As part of the agreement, India will reduce tariffs on certain US products, including frozen turkey, frozen duck, and various types of berries. This resolution follows the settlement of six bilateral trade disputes between the two countries in June 2023.
