Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually flagged off nine Vande Bharat Express trains, boosting connectivity across 11 states in India. The second Vande Bharat Express train in Odisha will run from Puri to Rourkela, covering a distance of 505 km in just 7.45 hours. The train will have stoppages at various stations along the route. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted the transformation of the railway sector under PM Modi’s vision, with new facilities being installed across railway stations. The event was attended by Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
