Firefighters in Queensland are currently battling two separate fast-moving bushfires. The first fire broke containment lines in the Glass House Mountains National Park, prompting an emergency warning for the Beerwah area on the Sunshine Coast. Over a dozen fire crews are at the scene. The second fire is burning near Emerald in central Queensland, with an emergency warning issued and several homes and structures believed to be at risk. Selma Road between Emerald and Fairbairn Dam Road, including the Fairbairn State Forest, is also under threat.
