Football Australia has issued two life bans to spectators involved in the shocking stampede during an A-League match at the weekend. After working with Victoria Police, the sport’s governing body issued a 23-year-old man from Craigieburn and a 19-year-old man from Meadow Heights the two bans from all related football activity. As a result, the two men will not be allowed to attend any Football Australia-sanctioned match, including A-Leagues, Australia Cup, National Premier League and National Team games, nor register as a football participant.
