Balanced News: Deeming dossier in Pesutto’s motion to expel MP after anti-trans rally

Opposition Leader John Pesutto will seek to expel Moira Deeming from the parliamentary party room for organising, promoting and attending an anti-trans rights rally headlined by an activist “known to be publicly associated with far-right extremist groups”. The party room will meet next Monday to decide on the fate of the western metropolitan region MP, who has vowed to fight the “unjust” push to oust her. The other main reason for Deeming’s proposed expulsion is her post-rally meeting with Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull, Katherine Deves and Angie Jones, who posted on Twitter “that, in the mind of any reasonable and lay observer, made association with Nazis”. Jones on Sunday afternoon tweeted: “Nazis and women want to get rid of peado filth, why don’t you?”
