The director of a company responsible for scanning OMR sheets of candidates in the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) exam has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in India. Ashwani Kumar, also known as Ashwani Sharma, is accused of fraudulently selecting candidates through the HPSC exam and accepting bribes. The ED alleges that Kumar filled in blank circles on OMR sheets with the correct answers for candidates who paid bribes. The money laundering case was initiated by the Haryana anti-corruption bureau (ACB) and the ED has already attached assets worth Rs 3.29 crore.
