The 18-year-old son of South Australian Police Commissioner Grant Stevens, Charlie Stevens, is in critical condition after being hit by a car at Goolwa Beach. The car did not stop at the scene but was apprehended later by the police. Charlie sustained serious injuries and is currently on life support at Flinders Medical Centre.
