An Air India flight carrying 216 passengers and 16 crew members made an emergency landing at Magadan airport in Russia after developing an engine problem. The US State Department has said that less than 50 American citizens were on board the San Francisco-bound flight, and a relief aircraft is expected to arrive later to assist the passengers continue on with their route. Air India has not provided any further details about the technical issues.
