The deal brokered with the Kremlin means that Wagner troops will be pardoned and criminal charges against Prigozhin will be dropped. The situation in Russia is an “unfolding story,” according to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who noted that the challenge to Putin came from within.
