The family of an Army Sgt. who died in Iraq 14 years ago has been given a new home in North Carolina through Operation Coming Home. The house, named “Hero Home #27,” was built by volunteers from Garman Homes and furnished with donations from local and national businesses. The widow and two children of the fallen soldier expressed gratitude for the support they have received and said that the new home shows that they are not alone in their grief.
