Human remains discovered on a beach in Canada may be linked to a shipwreck from the 1800s, according to the Royal Mounted Canadian Police. The bones were found on a cliff in Prince Edward Island, and authorities are investigating the possibility of a historical shipwreck burial. Similar remains were found in the same area in the 1950s and 1960s, believed to be connected to a shipwreck from the 1800s. Local residents have also reported finding bones over the years, and experts anticipate that more remains may be revealed due to erosion. In 2019, human remains from an 1847 shipwreck were confirmed in Gaspé, Quebec.
