The body of a surfer has been found on a beach in South Taranaki. Police said identification was yet to be completed, though they believed it to be the person who went missing in the same area of Warea, earlier today. A rāhui is in place on the coastline from Cape Egmont Lighthouse to Waiweranui Stream, and events planned over the weekend in this area have been cancelled.
