Atanu Ghosh, a retired hospital employee in Bengal, has built robots at his own expense to assist autistic children, raise awareness about diseases like dengue, and work as waiters. Ghosh learned to design robots from his father and built his first remote-controlled robot at the age of 18. During the pandemic, he created a robot named ‘Krity’ to deliver medicines to COVID patients. He also developed another robot called ‘Bravo’ specifically designed to help autistic children learn words, colors, and shapes. Ghosh is open to receiving financial assistance to build more robots for public benefit.
