A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a car crash in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. A passerby rescued a 31-year-old woman and a seven-year-old girl from the burning wreckage after their car collided with a truck. The girl was airlifted to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a serious condition, while the driver was taken to Westmead Hospital with burns. The truck driver was unharmed. The woman was arrested at the hospital and is set to appear in court today.
