Balanced News: 12 men in tea shop massacred by junta troops for no apparent reason

A group of 12 men were killed by junta troops in Myanmar while drinking tea at a shop in Mandalay region’s Madaya township. The victims, aged between 30 and 50, were tied up and shot by a column of 70 soldiers. The soldiers had been mobilized to reinforce troops at a nearby outpost. In a separate incident, 10 civilians were killed in southern Chin state due to junta airstrikes on six homes. The attacks occurred without any battle, and mobile phone communications were cut off in the affected village.
